Mount Pleasant Baptist Church exists to glorify God by equipping the saints to worship Him, to grow in grace and knowledge, and to evangelize the lost.

Values:

  1. God’s holiness and centrality applied to all areas of worship and ministry.
  2. Biblical fellowship as a means of growth in grace.
  3. Clear preaching of the entirety of God’s Word with relevant application.
  4. The importance of making and keeping relationships right in the church.
  5. A range of biblically-based approaches to evangelism that follow the priorities of Acts 1:8.
  6. The discipling of all believers with the result that each is equipped to do the work of the ministry.
  7. Building and strengthening families according to the mandates of Ephesians 4.
  8. Humble dependence upon God’s Spirit as gifted members of the church serve the Lord and one another.
